1. Overview
Mail Organizer helps you organize your Gmail inbox and Google Calendar by identifying old, unnecessary, or unwanted emails and events, and providing tools to delete, unsubscribe, or manage them more easily.
2. Data We Access
- Gmail: We access email metadata (sender, subject, date, labels) and, when you choose, message bodies for the purpose of organizing, displaying, and deleting messages or unsubscribing from senders.
- Google Calendar: We access event metadata (titles, dates, attendees, reminders) to help you manage or remove outdated events.
- Access is granted only with your explicit consent through Google OAuth.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To identify emails and events you may want to delete or manage.
- To carry out actions you request, such as deleting emails, unsubscribing from senders, or removing events.
- To improve the performance and functionality of the app.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- Mail Organizer does not permanently store the content of your emails or calendar events on our servers.
- Any data temporarily cached to perform the requested actions is deleted immediately after the action is complete.
- We store only the minimal information required for your account (such as your user ID and OAuth tokens), which are securely encrypted.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your Google data with third parties. Data is only used within Mail Organizer to provide the features you request. We may share anonymized, aggregated usage statistics for analytics, but never identifiable personal data.
6. Your Control
- You can revoke Mail Organizer’s access to Gmail or Calendar at any time via your Google Account settings.
- You may request deletion of any data we have temporarily processed on your behalf by contacting us directly.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and secure protocols to protect your data during transmission and storage. Access to your account data is strictly controlled and logged.
